OMUG AUGUST ANNUAL PICNIC |
 The
OMUG picnic is usually held at Priest Point Park. In 2007 it
was scheduled
for Saturday, August 11th. The time is from 10 AM until approximately 4
PM and we plan on eating lunch around 12 noon. See the August
Newsletter for more details. This is always a fun social event.

Heywood, Community Librarian at the Olympia Timberland Library,
presented a program on the Timberland Library’s reference databases
and other online services available to members with Internet Access.
Cheryl helps with the Page Turners and really
is a great resource in our community. Our library is one of the
best. Come and enjoy this program !! |

Planning Retreat |

OMUG Leadership Retreat: Not scheduled for 2007 |
|
After the elections
it has been custom to hold a Leadership Retreat to help figure out what we
would like to accomplish in the following year and how to get it
accomplished. Although I know that it is almost impossible to get
everyone together on the same day, I encourage as many of the Officers and
Key Members as possible to attend this Retreat. Every member of OMUG is
invited to attend and to participate in the discussions. |
