The Windows 10 Recovery Drive comes with multiple tools for repairing and reinstalling Windows. Windows 10 Upgrade disc for members who have OMUG enterprise versions of WIN 7, WIN 8 and WIN 8.1

The Windows 10 Upgrade discs are now available.

All members who received the Win 7, 8/8.1 enterprise version from OMUG are eligible for this disc. We will start distribution at the Sept.10 meeting.

Microsoft has advised us that a CLEAN install must be made for this upgrade.  This means that all programs will have to be reinstalled.

Be sure that you understand the procedure for a CLEAN install before inserting the disc.

  1. Make sure your computer is backed up prior to attempting this or ANY upgrade.
  2. The same upgrade disc works for all Windows versions.
  3. You will need a disc for each processor.  (one disc for 32 bit and one disc for 64 bit)
  4. If you received more than one previous upgrade, you will only get one (1) Windows 10 disc for each operating version. (The Windows 10 disc can be use multiple times)

This upgrade is free.  However, we requests that a $3 donation be made to OMUG to cover the cost of materials.

The donation can be made at the next meeting or sent to:
